The post-production work on Ram Charan’s “Peddi” is progressing rapidly, with the latest update being the completion of the film’s final edit.
Director Buchi Babu Sana and editor Naveen Nooli shared a picture from the editing suite after locking the final cut of the film. With the edit now complete, the focus shifts to background score, sound design, and final mixing.
AR Rahman, who had already begun composing the music, is now expected to accelerate work on the background score. Simultaneously, the sound team has also started the final mixing process.
With the post-production moving smoothly, the makers are said to be confident about holding premiere shows on June 3, a day ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on June 4. Overseas premieres are almost certain, while it remains to be seen whether the team secures permissions for paid premiere shows in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Produced on a lavish scale by Vriddhi Cinemas, “Peddi” features production design by Avinash Kolla. In a recent interview, he revealed that several authentic sets were specially created for the film.
“Peddi” stars Ram Charan in the titular role, while Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead.
