Police to grill Shankar and Kamal Haasan
The Tamilnadu government has taken the mishap of ‘Indian 2’ seriously. The police have begun an inquiry into the accident. Fighters and some bigwigs of the Tamil film industry have demanded strict action be taken on director Shankar and producers for not maintaining safety measures on the sets. The initial investigations reveal that safety norms are flouted.
Shankar and Kamal Haasan are to be called in for questioning soon.
However, the production house says they have taken enough safety measures. They have agreed to cooperate with the police. The shooting of the movie has been halted for the time being.
‘Indian 2’ is to be released in Telugu and Hindi as well. The Telugu version is titled ‘Bharateeyudu 2’. The film is the sequel to 90’s blockbuster ‘Indian’/’Bharateeyudu’. Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and Siddharth are playing main roles.
