Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing a key role in Vishnu Manchu’s dream project, Kannappa. The film has Vishnu in the title role of Kannappa, who is a devotee of Lord Shiva. And Akshay Kumar plays the Lord Shiva in this devotional mega movie.
The producers are making the film on a grand scale. Mohan Babu is the producer, and Mukesh Kumar Singh is the director. The film is scheduled for release on April 25, 2025.
Today, the first-look poster of Akshay Kumar as Shiva in the Tandav avatar was unveiled. Kajal Aggarwal plays the goddess Parvathi, whose poster was recently released.
Akshay Kumar wrote, “Stepping into the sacred aura of Mahadev for #Kannappa. Honored to bring this epic tale to life. May Lord Shiva guide us on this divine journey. Om Namah Shivaya!”
The film also features Prabhas and Mohanlal in other key roles. Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, and Arpit Ranka play other roles. Preity Mukundhan is the female lead.
