The growing popularity of Prabhas in Japan has reached another milestone. The pan-Indian star, who built a massive fanbase in the country after the Japanese release of Baahubali, has now graced the back cover of Japan’s iconic magazine Anan.
Prabhas appears on the back cover of Anan issue 2483, set to release on February 10, becoming the first Indian actor to feature solo on the magazine. Earlier, Ram Charan and NTR shared a cover in 2023 following the global success of RRR, but Prabhas now makes history with an exclusive solo appearance.
The magazine describes the feature as a “royal audience gravure” under its Irresistible Feelings theme, underlining the actor’s strong connect and popularity among Japanese fans.
The cover shoot took place during Prabhas’s visit to Tokyo in December 2025, when he travelled to Japan to promote his films and interact with fans.
On the work front, Prabhas is currently working on Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. He is also set to begin work on Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2 soon.
