Pradeep Machiraju: I am fortunate to be a celebrity

Pradeep Machiraju, who began his career as a radio jockey, later rose to prominence as a television show host before stepping into the film industry. He made his debut as a lead actor in “30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela.” Despite success, Pradeep took more than three years to return with his second film.

Titled “Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi,” his latest film is set to release in theaters on April 11. Reflecting on his journey, Pradeep said, “I consider myself fortunate to have achieved celebrity status. I’m grateful for the opportunity to tell the kind of stories I’ve always wanted to.”

The film, produced by his close friends, features Pradeep in the role of Krishna.

“Krishna is a smart guy, but when he’s assigned to lead an engineering project in a village, things take a turn for the worse. The comedy that arises from his struggles will be a laugh riot for the audience,” he shared. “Directors Nitin and Bharath have crafted this film with great care and attention to detail.”

“Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi” sees Telugu girl Deepika Pilli making her debut. “We specifically wanted a Telugu girl for the role,” Pradeep said. “Deepika was finalized after extensive auditions, look tests, and workshops. She delivered a fantastic performance that will surprise audiences.”

“Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi” is designed as a wholesome entertainer for the entire family, Pradeep concluded.
