Senior producer and communist leader Atluri Poornachandra Rao, who produced ‘Aada Padachu’ (1967)‘Mathru Devata’ (1969), and Sthree, breathed his last. He was 92. He passed away this morning at his residence in Kapra in Hyderabad.
The veteran producer was senior communist leader in Andhra Pradesh. He made movies with social themes. Frustrated with the overt commercialization of Telugu cinema, the producer left Chennai in 1970s and came to Hyderabad to begin life afresh.
