Megastar Chiranjeevi had wrapped up his portions for “Vishwambhara” some time ago, yet the film’s release continues to remain uncertain. Speculation has been rife regarding the delay, but director Vasishta, who previously delivered the hit ‘Bimbisara’, has now addressed the issue.
Vasishta clarified that the primary reason behind the indefinite postponement is the extensive visual effects work still underway. However, he assured that the wait won’t be long, as the producers are actively considering multiple release windows.
According to industry buzz, the team is currently eyeing either the last week of September or the first week of December for the theatrical release.
Vasishta also offered a glimpse into the film’s plot: the story revolves around the protagonist’s journey to Satya Lokam and his mission to bring the heroine back to Earth. It is a fantasy drama.
“Vishwambhara” features Trisha as the female lead, while Ashika Ranganath plays the second heroine.
