With new Telugu big releases tomorrow, ‘PS1’ stands no chance of regaining lost ground. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather’, Nagarjuna’s ‘The Ghost’, and Swathimuthyam will take over the Telugu box office on Wednesday.

Producer Dil Raju who released Mani Ratnam’s film didn’t care to promote it aggressively either. He and his team were satisfied with the opening numbers. The film collected Rs 7.50 Crore. The film’s Telugu version was bought for Rs 10 crores. So, Dil Raju is confident he would not lose much now.

‘PS1’ is also a flop in the Hindi market. Starring Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi, ‘PS 1’ is based on a Tamil novel. The Tamil version’s collections are huge.
