Rajamouli and team begin pre-production for ‘SSMB29’

In the new year 2024, top director Rajamouli will return to work on a massive new film. The untitled film, billed as a globetrotting adventure thriller, stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role.

Rajamouli has begun pre-production for their new film now that Mahesh Babu has nearly completed his work on “Guntur Kaaram,” which will be released in theaters on January 12, 2024.

The film, tentatively titled #SSMB29, will be shot on a massive set built in Hyderabad. Aside from that, several national and international locations have been shortlisted for filming key sequences.

Rajamouli, his wife and costume designer Rama Rajamouli, and the production team are already hard at work finalizing locations, costumes, and other details.

Rajamouli is also deciding on the main cast and crew members. While his brother and renowned music composer MM Keeravani, will provide the music. Cinematographer Senthil may not be able to work on this project due to other commitments.

KL Narayana will produce the film, which marks his return to film producing after a 20-year hiatus.
