Irumudi: August 21 locked for theatrical release

The confusion surrounding the release plans of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film “Irumudi” has finally come to an end. While the makers had earlier hinted at an August release, uncertainty remained after Suriya’s “Vishwanath And Sons” secured the Independence Day weekend slot.

Putting all speculation to rest, the makers have officially announced August 21, 2026, as the theatrical release date for “Irumudi.”

Ravi Teja has teamed up with director Shiva Nirvana for the film, which is being produced by leading pan-India banner Mythri Movie Makers. The project has already generated considerable buzz, thanks to the positive response received by its first glimpse, titled “The Heart of Irumudi.”

The film is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on August 21, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Varalakshmi Vratam. With nearly two months remaining before release, the team has also promised a steady stream of promotional content in the coming weeks.

Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead opposite Ravi Teja, while Baby Nakshathra will be seen as his daughter. The music is being composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

With the release date now locked, all eyes are on the film’s promotional campaign as Ravi Teja gears up for one of his most anticipated releases of the year.
