Rakul Preet Singh laughs at reports of buying liquor

That Rakul Preet Singh buying liquor at a store in Mumbai has gone viral in the last couple of days. WhatsApp forwards declared that she hit the market to buy alcohol bottles as soon as liquor shops opened. But it was false and fake. 

Now, Rakul too has reacted to these fake reports. “Oh wow! I wasn’t aware that medical stores were selling alcohol,” she replied to a news report. The video of Rakul buying some bottles has been wrongly interpreted. She was buying medicinal syrups from a neighborhood medical store in Bandra in Mumbai. It was evident that she was buying medicines in the late evening.

Rakul’s reply: “Oh wow! I wasn’t aware that medical stores were selling alcohol.”

On the work front, Rakul is struggling to get new offers. However, she has pinned her hopes on her next release ‘Check’ being directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti. The film stars Nithin and it is likely to be released early next year.
