Team ‘Kaidi No.150’ are really confident that their film starring megastar Chiranjeevi will hit bang on target. With a tagline like ‘Boss is back’, hopes are that people will come to theatres and watch the film. The distribution rights of this film for now seem to be very high.
News is that Ram Charan, the movie’s producer, demanding not less than Rs 15 Crore for the overseas rights of this film.Ram Charan is said to be adamant about his quote and not slashing a bit. Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ grossed more than four million dollars in USA due to the hype it generated. Ram Charan thinks that since the movie is Chiranjeevi’s comeback film it would also create huge hype before the release. So he believes that Rs 15 Cr is not a big deal to pay.
On the other hand, overseas distributors think that putting Rs 15 Cr on the movie will be very risky. Let’s wait and watch to see if any distributors will pay such huge amount.
