Actress Ramya Krishnan has taken over ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 5’. She is stepping in the place of Kamal Haasan as host. Kamal Haasan contracted COVID-19 recently. Hence, the makers of ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 5’ have roped in Ramya Krishna as the host for the time being.
Ramya Krishna has the experience of hosting ‘Bigg Boss’ as she did in Telugu for a few weeks when Nagarjuna went for a holiday during the third season.
Ramya Krishna is popular on the small screen as well. She is currently acting as Nagarjuna’s wife in the upcoming ‘Bangarraju’.
Meanwhile, Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai issued a health bulletin on the condition of Kamal Haasan. “He is recovering well. His condition continues to be stable,” the statement read.
