Ram Pothineni has officially launched his most ambitious project yet, #RAPO23, marking a major milestone in his career as he makes his directorial debut. Produced by Krishna Pothineni under the newly launched RAPO Cinematics banner, the film is said to be the costliest project of Ram’s career.
The film was formally launched today with a traditional pooja ceremony. Producer Krishna Pothineni handed over the script to Ram Pothineni, while veteran producer P. Murali Mohan switched on the camera for the auspicious muhurtham shot. Ravi Kishore sounded the clapboard, and Ram directed the first shot himself.
The regular shoot also commenced today on the outskirts of Hyderabad, with Ram joining the production alongside key members of the cast.
The film is described as a psychological action thriller set in a neo-noir world, exploring an unconventional narrative with Ram serving as a writer as well.
The film boasts an accomplished technical team that includes cinematographer Thirunavukarasu (Thirru), Peter Hein, and production designer AS Prakash.
