Ravi Teja will be taking home nearly Rs 40 Cr this year. The Mass Maharaja is currently working in three films in addition to the film (‘Nela Ticket) that is ready for release on May 25. Taking into the account of Rs 10 Cr per film as his remuneration, his income from movies will be Rs 40 Cr in 2018.
Ravi Teja began his second innings last year with moderate hit ‘Raja The Great’ and has inked two-movies deal with Mythri Movie Makers: Sreenu Vaitla’s movie and Santosh Srinivas’s film. Srinu Vaitla’s film has already completed its first schedule. Santosh Srinivas’s movie which is based on Vijay’s Tamil hit ‘Their’ has begun shoot two days ago.
From October, he will also be commencing another film. So, all in all he will be earning Rs 40 Cr film.
The reason why he turned so busy is that his movies are fetching nearly Rs 25 Cr to producers from Satellite, Hindi dubbing and digital avenues. Producer of ‘Nela Ticket’ got Rs 24 Cr from Satellite rights and Hindi dubbing rights. If a producer finishes a film with Ravi Teja under Rs 30 Cr budget, 80 percent of budget will be recovered from non-theatrical revenue itself before the release. So, producers are again inking deals with Ravi Teja.
