Real test for comedian Saptagiri

Even as his debut attempt as lead hero flopped miserably, comedian Saptagiri is continuing to play lead roles. His second film as hero ‘Saptagiri LLB’, a remake of Bollywood ‘Jolly LLB’ is releasing tomorrow (Dec 7). This is going to be real test for him.

At a time other comedy stars including Sunil have realized that the time for comedians as lead hero has ended, he is taking huge gamble. It remains to be seen whether he’d score a hit in his second attempt.

‘Jolly LLB’ starring Arshad Warsi was successful due to its black comedy and it stuck to the main plot than focusing on songs and dances. But Saptagiri is trying to showcase his dancing skills too in this. In Tollywood, almost all the top stars are terrific at dance steps. Do people really care to see a comedian performing dance?
