Ram Gopal Varma who alleged that Censor Board is overreaching its jurisdiction and creating hurdles in clearing his movie “Lakshmi’s NTR” has now backtracked on his statements. He now said that there has been some misunderstanding between Censor board and his team. So, he is dropping all the allegations he made. All this happened within a gap of three hours.
He says the Board will now be giving the movie required censor certificate.
“There has been an unfortunate misunderstanding between our office and the CBFC which has now been cleared ..The CBFC is now doing the necessary action as per the laid down procedure ..Hence our press meet against the CBFC is cancelled ..Jai NTR,” RGV tweeted.
We have to see whether this film would hit the screens on March 22nd, 2019.
