Rishabh Shetty to play a cameo in NTR’s ‘Dragon’?
The shooting of “Dragon,” starring NTR in a powerful role and directed by Prashanth Neel, is underway in Hyderabad. The shoot resumed recently after NTR joined the sets with renewed energy and dedication.
The latest buzz on social media is that director Prashanth Neel has roped in Rishabh Shetty for a cameo appearance. Neel is one of the closest friends of actor-director Rishabh Shetty. Both are Kannadigas. Rishabh Shetty gained pan-Indian prominence with the movie “Kantara” and is gearing up for the release of its prequel, “Kantara: Chapter 1.” He will also act in two other films — “Jai Hanuman” and another film for Sithara Entertainments.
Rishabh Shetty might not play an extended role but will appear as a brief character important enough to the plot.
The title “Dragon” has not yet been officially announced, but production house Mythri Movie Makers has already registered it. The action drama is set for release in June 2026.
Prashanth Neel has neither announced the female lead’s name nor confirmed it, but Rukmini Vasanth is said to be playing NTR’s love interest. Ravi Basrur is providing the music.
