Ram Gopal Varma

Ram Gopal Varma has an opinion to tell. Some call him maverick, but at times he seems to be right. RGV was talking about Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.

The maverick director was of the opinion that RRR might have collected big money, but it is not a game changer or has not done anything radically.

Rajamouli has a track record of pulling of films made of big budget. He has that capability and has done a good job of it. RRR is a regular big budget commercial film that does absolutely nothing.

The director continues… on the other hand we have ‘The Kashmir Files’, a game changer. One needs high-level confidence to make such films. It was made on a budget of Rs 10 Cr and the film raked Rs 250 Cr. This is performance, says RGV.

When you actually look at the bigger picture the performance of ‘The Kashmir Files’ is much inspiring than that of ‘RRR’.
