Rs 500 Rs 1000 ban: Tollywood to suffer!

As Indian government banned the current series of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes to contain black money, the impact on Tollywood will be huge. Majority of the movies are made with finance taken from local financiers in Hyderabad and Rayalaseema. These financiers deal in mostly Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. Most of the money is unaccounted one.

So for few months, the inflow of money from these financiers into movie industry will be tough. Especially small-budgeted and small producers will be suffering. Studios will register low productions. Shootings will slow down.
