Rukmini Vasanth avoids talking about ‘Dragon’

Rukmini Vasanth is being considered for the female lead opposite NTR in “Dragon,” the ongoing Prashanth Neel directorial. With NTR currently on a break due to injury, the team has paused announcements and is waiting for the right moment to officially reveal the heroine.

At the pre-release event of “Kantara: Chapter 1,” Rukmini was asked about the NTR film, but she tactfully avoided the topic. When someone asked her to describe NTR in one word, she replied that a single word isn’t enough to capture his talent. At other promotional events, she faced similar questions about Dragon and once again chose not to comment.

It appears she prefers to wait for the makers to make a grand announcement regarding her involvement in the film.

“Dragon” is expected to resume shooting in the second half of October and is targeting a June 2026 release.
