Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently spoke candidly about finding contentment in life despite not having a single movie release in the past two years. Speaking at the 52nd National Management Convention organized by the All India Management Association in Delhi, she shared how her life transformed after her battle with myositis.
“Today, I haven’t had a film release in two years, I am not on any lists. I don’t have a 1000-crore film, but I am the happiest I have ever been,” Samantha revealed.
She also opened up about the intense pressure she used to feel earlier in her career. “Every Friday used to bring anxiety – fearing someone would replace me, and I would lose my place. My whole self-worth was tied to the box office numbers that Friday,” she confessed.
However, after her health struggles, Samantha has found peace in both her personal life and career, no longer letting external success define her happiness.
Samantha will next be working with director Nandini Reddy.
