Samantha to take a long leave from work?

Samantha will resume shooting for the remake of ‘96’ next week. She is reprising the role of Trisha in this Telugu version that stars Sharwanand as the male lead. She is also doing a web series. Other than these two projects, she has not signed any other movie. Now that she has proved that she can command great openings on her own with the success of ‘Oh Baby’, Samantha wants to put a break to her acting career.

She wants to plan her family. She will not sign any movies after wrapping up the shoot of ‘96’ remake. Samantha has already informed the media that becoming a mom is her top priority. So, Samantha will go on a long leave.

Samantha wishes to return to films after two or three years. Samantha has delivered three hits this year – Super Deluxe in Tamil, ‘Majili’ and ‘Oh Baby’ in Telugu. The Akkineni Kodalu has already achieved the status of one as one of the top actresses of the South Indian film industry. 

She married Naga Chaitanya two years ago. They are the most loved couple in Tollywood.
