Samantha turns grandmother?

Samantha is now focusing on to do heroine-oriented roles. She has already finished female-centric thriller ‘U Turn’ that is scheduled for September 13 release and she will next be seen in a film that puts her in an old woman’s avatar. According to industry buzz, director Nandini Reddy has made a script based on Korean drama ‘Miss Granny’.

The film is all about an elderly woman regaining her youthful appearance and embarking on a quest for happiness. Samantha will be playing the role of a grandmother who mysteriously turns young again. This is completely heroine-oriented role.

Nandini Reddy has earlier directed Samantha in ‘Jabaradasth’ that was a major dud. The film also ran into trouble as Nandini copied ‘Band Baja Baarat’ story without buying the remake rights. This time, they are said to be remaking the Korean drama officially.
