Samantha’s ‘Shaakuntalam’ collapses everywhere

Samantha Ruth Prabhu had high hopes for Shaakuntalam, her first pan-Indian project. The mythology fantasy drama, directed by Gunasekhar and co-produced by Dil Raju, received poor reviews from the morning show itself.

The film failed on the first day itself. The following day is even worse. Many theaters have almost no collections.

Only multiplexes in Hyderabad achieved respectable results. The situation is the same in the United States. The distributor in the United States will suffer significant losses.

‘Shaakuntalam’ received overwhelmingly negative feedback from audiences. Gunasekhar’s dull narrative and poor 3D graphics ruined the experience.
