Sanjay Dutt: Bollywood has lost its passion

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, who attended the teaser launch of the Kannada film KD, stated that only South Indian films are currently thriving in Indian cinema. He observed that the Hindi film industry has lost its creative spark.

Reflecting on the state of the Hindi film industry, once regarded as one of the biggest in the world, he said it has yet to recover from its post-COVID slump. However, he expressed hope that Bollywood would soon regain its former glory.

“Bollywood has lost its passion. Everything is about numbers now. I hope it bounces back very soon,” he added.

Sanjay Dutt is currently working on “The Raja Saab” alongside Prabhas. In recent years, he has been actively involved in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films, with his South Indian cinema career flourishing.
