Although Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ will be occupying maximum number of screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states from 10 January, the film will also have to allot some screens to other three releases that are hitting this Sankranthi festival.
At last clarity has emerged about the Sankranthi releases. Pawan Kalyan’s movie will hit the screens on 10 Jan, while Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Jai Simha’ will release on 12 January. Balakrishna’s will be the second biggest release this Sankranthi. On the same day, Suriya’s bilingual ‘Gang’ will be hitting the screens. UV Creations is releasing this movie in Telugu.
The last movie to hit this Pongal season is a small movie ‘Rangula Ratnam’ starring Raj Tharun. Nagarjuna has produced this film. He is hoping that it could become another ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’, the sleeper hit that released last Pongal.
