Ending all the wait for the fans of Dhanush as well as Nagarjuna Akkineni, director Sekhar Kammula has announced the release date of “Kuberaa.” Interestingly, the makers also added an extra ‘a’ to the title.
“Kuberaa” will be hitting theaters worldwide on June 20, 2025.
This film marks Sekhar Kammula’s foray into pan-Indian movies. Touted to be a political drama, the film features Dhanush as a pauper and Nagarjuna as an influential figure. Jim Sarbh, the Bollywood actor, plays the antagonist. The release date poster features the three of them with Mumbai’s slums appearing in the background. The film is largely set in Mumbai.
Rashmika Mandanna plays Dhanush’s female pair. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music, and the play is his first collaboration with Sekhar Kammula.
Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are bankrolling it.
