Shalini Panday is North Indian girl but she gained success and popularity in South India thanks to the phenomenal response of ‘Arjun Reddy’. She continued playing lead roles in a couple of other Telugu films and then Bollywood came calling.
When leading Bollywood production house YRF offered a big film opposite Ranveer Singh, she stopped signing Telugu films. She entirely focused on her Bollywood career for the last three years. But her maiden Bollywood film, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, bombed miserably. It was one of the biggest disasters in this year in Bollywood.
As her maiden film tanked at the box office, she is not getting much attention from the media or filmmakers. Although she signed a three-film contract with YRF, Shalini lost the opportunities in Tollywood.
