Shruti Haasan, who will next be seen in “Coolie,” recently spoke candidly about her personal life during a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia. The actress opened up about her breakup with long-time partner Santanu Hazarika, revealing that they were almost on the brink of marriage. Shruti clarified that the split was not her fault and emphasized that both had different paths in life.
Shruti Haasan is the elder daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan. Over the years, she has dealt with her share of relationships and health challenges, emerging as a candid and resilient public figure.
Speaking about her views on marriage, Shruti said, “The idea of marriage genuinely terrifies me. I’ve put in immense effort to shape my own identity, and the notion of tying that to a piece of paper feels frightening. Though I deeply respect the values that marriage embodies, I don’t believe a legal document is essential to validate those principles.”
“I don’t wish to raise a child as a single parent. I genuinely believe that a child’s upbringing and development thrive best with two loving and committed parents. Adoption is something I’ve considered. Children are incredibly fascinating to me.”
Shruti’s honest reflections on relationships, identity, and motherhood offer a glimpse into the thoughtful and introspective side of the actress, beyond her glamorous on-screen presence.
