Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala recently got engaged. Though they have not yet officially revealed their wedding date, it looks like the preparations for the wedding ceremony have already begun.
In Telugu states, it is customary to commence all wedding-related shopping following a traditional ‘Pasupu Danchatam’ ceremony. This ceremony involves the bride’s parents grinding turmeric to signal the commencement of the wedding preparations. After this ceremony, the parents will start buying gold ornaments, clothes, and other material required for the wedding ceremony.
Sobhita Dhulipala today took to Instagram to declare that the ceremony of ‘Pasupu Danchatam’ happened at their home in Vishakapatnam. She shared pictures and declared, “And so it begins!”
Our sources say the wedding ceremony will take place in December.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita began dating two years ago. Their engagement took place in August.
