“Spirit,” the film bringing together Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was announced three years ago. It was initially planned to begin filming in February 2025. However, the project has been delayed due to the pending completion of Prabhas’s two other films.
The film has now been postponed further, and the latest update suggests that shooting will actually commence in February or March 2026. This means Sandeep Reddy Vanga will lose nearly a year because of Prabhas’s other commitments.
Prabhas plays a cop in this film, which marks Tripti Dimri’s Telugu debut. Spirit is being produced by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures in association with T-Series.
The film will be shot extensively in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Mexico, and Thailand.
