Sreeleela, one of the most popular young stars in South Indian cinema, has seen a dip in her success rate in recent times. Over the past two years, she has delivered more flops than hits, with films like Guntur Kaaram, Skanda, Extra, Robinhood, and Junior underperforming at the box office. As a result, her craze has slightly diminished.
However, a fresh wave of opportunity awaits her in Bollywood.
Sreeleela is all set to make her Hindi film debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in a romantic drama directed by Anurag Basu. Tentatively titled “Aashiqui 3,” the film created a buzz when its teaser was released earlier this year.
The excitement around her debut has grown stronger following the massive success of Saiyaara, a film in a similar romantic genre. With audiences showing renewed interest in emotional love stories, industry insiders believe Sreeleela has a strong chance of making a significant impact in Bollywood.
In Tamil, she is gearing up for “Parashakti,” while in Telugu, she will next be seen alongside Ravi Teja in “Mass Jathara.”
