Sriwass finally bags another film

Since the debacle of Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas starrer ‘Saakshyam’, director Sriwass Oleti has been struggling to convince the stars to give him another chance. Two years of attempts later he has finally snagged an offer. The director of ‘Lakshyam’ will now launch leading producer DVV Danayya’s son as a hero.

Danayya is currently producing Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ with NTR and Ram Charan. After wrapping up this shoot, Danayya will launch his son as a hero in the direction of Sriwass. A script has already been locked. Sriwass’s recent films ‘Saakshyam’ and ‘Dictator’ tanked without a trace.

The trend of producers launching their sons as heroes had begun with Ramanaidu introducing his son Venkatesh as an actor in ‘Kaliyuga Pandavulu’ in 1986.
