Samantha acknowledged that, due to her health problems, her facial skin was not in the ideal shape. Myositis is an autoimmune disorder, and she has been receiving treatment for it.
Samantha blames the steroids, used as part of her treatment, for ruining her complexion as well.
She addressed a query regarding the condition of her skin. “Actually, because of this issue (Myostis), I actually had to do a lot of steroid shots, so it really, really messed up my skin, gave me a lot of pigmentation,” she said.
Samantha is taking a break from her acting commitments at the moment. Samantha has not commented on the rumors that she will star in Karan Johar’s Bollywood flick starring Salman Khan.
