Amid widespread rumors that director Sujeeth and producer DVV Danayya had a fallout following the release of Pawan Kalyan’s “OG,” the filmmaker has now set the record straight. Taking to social media, Sujeeth clarified that he holds immense gratitude for Danayya’s unwavering support and belief in him throughout the film’s journey.

Reports had earlier suggested that Sujeeth was not fully paid and that he personally funded reshoots costing around Rs 6 crore after the producer allegedly declined. However, Danayya dismissed these claims as completely baseless.

In his statement, Sujeeth emphasized that OG’s success was possible only because of the faith and strength of his producer and team.

“A lot is being said, but very few truly understand what it takes to carry a film from start to finish. The belief and strength my producer and team showed for OG can’t be put into words. That’s what gives this film its strength today.

It hasn’t been easy for anyone, but every bit of effort came from a place of commitment. Let’s keep the process respected. The love and madness shown by fans for Pawan Kalyan garu and OG make it all feel meaningful. Grateful to Danayya garu for his constant support and belief.”

After a successful theatrical run, “OG” is now set for its digital premiere on Netflix on October 23. The action drama stars Pawan Kalyan as a gangster, with Emraan Hashmi playing the antagonist. Music is composed by Thaman.
