Venkatesh starrer two movies – Narappa and Drushyam 2 – have opted for direct-digital release. A few more medium-range and small movies have the same. Considering the prevailing situation, the makers of Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film ‘Gully Rowdy’ have also initiated talks with streaming companies.
‘Gully Rowdy’ is a comedy entertainer directed by G Nageshwara Reddy. The director is known for movies such as ‘Seema Shastri’ and ‘Denikaina Reddy’.
Neha Shetty is playing the heroine. Kona Venkat is presenting the movie. Last year, Kona Venkat presented Anushka starrer ‘Nishabdham’ had also opted for the direct-digital premiere.
