Superstar Rajinikanth plays Deva in ‘Coolie’

Hotshot filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is directing superstar Rajinikanth, who made a strong comeback with Jailer, in “Coolie.” The film’s shooting is underway in Vizag.

The team has been revealing the cast details, as well as the characters they are playing. Recently, the team revealed the names of the main cast, which includes high-profile stars like Akkineni Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan.

Nagarjuna plays Simon, and Upendra appears as Kaleesha. Sathyaraj (Rajasekhar), Shruti Haasan (Preethi), and Soubin Shahir (Dayal) also got their character names announced.

Rajinikanth, the main lead hero, has now revealed his role. In the film, he portrays Deva. “Thank you so much for this, @rajinikanth sir. It’s going to be a blast,” Lokesh Kangaraj wrote.

Anirudh Ravichander serves as the music director and Girish Gangadharan as the cameraman in the Kalanidhi Maran-produced film.
