Tamil superstar Suriya and Telugu actress Krithi Shetty have paired up for a new film. The untitled film marks Krithi Shetty’s Tamil debut. The ‘Uppena’ girl is riding high on success in Telugu, and she has high hopes for this Tamil film to secure a foothold in Kollywood.
However, rumors went rounds recently that Suriya shelved the film after creative differences popped up with director Bala.
Slamming the reports, the makers issued a statement. “#Suriya41 successfully completed the 1st schedule of 34 days in Kanyakumari. The next schedule of 15 days is all set to start in Goa in June after extensive set work!,” the statement read.
Director Bala is Suriya’s guru. He is the director who shaped Suriya’s career. Suriya and his wife Jyothika are producing the film.
