Sye Raa not changing its release date

Amidst reports that ‘Sye Raa’ is getting postponed, the team has clarified that there is no change its release date. The Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer will hit the screens as announced on October 2nd on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi. October 2nd as the release date has been chosen precisely for the reason that the film is about a freedom warrior who was the first Indian to rebel against the British. The film is bringing the life of this forgotten hero to the screen. So, it would be illogical if they change the date.

The team has clarified that they are not postponing the film at all. Even Ram Charan has clarified that the film is not going to be postponed. Ram Charan who is producing the film spoke to the media in Nellore and reiterated the film would come on the scheduled date.

‘War’, the action film starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, has definitely made the team of ‘Sye Raa’ worry about it but they are not going to change the release date at all. ‘War’ is also releasing on October 2nd and the film’s trailer has received a tremendous response. 

‘Sye Raa’ is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan. To be released in five languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam simultaneously, ‘Sye Raa’ is one of the most expensive films made in the Telugu film industry.
