Tamannaah Bhatia has long been one of the most popular leading ladies in Indian cinema. Since the beginning of her career, the actress had set certain rules and boundaries for herself, but she now admits those restrictions ended up costing her some meaningful opportunities.
Reflecting on her journey, the 35-year-old actress explained that she has consciously decided to let go of those limitations.
“If the character is good, I am open to doing any scene,” she said, adding that this also includes her decision to say yes to on-screen kissing scenes.
With two decades of acting behind her, Tamannaah emphasized that she is no longer seeking just regular heroine roles. Instead, she wants to explore a wider variety of characters and challenge herself as a performer.
While she has no qualms about continuing to do glamorous roles or special songs, she believes experimenting with diverse characters is what excites her at this stage of her career.
