Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for his larger-than-life persona on screen and his unpredictable nature off it. From mingling warmly with strangers to sternly checking overenthusiastic fans, Balayya’s spontaneous acts often grab headlines.
Recently, he stunned everyone by taking the driver’s seat of an RTC bus. This wasn’t for a film shoot, but a real bus carrying passengers. The incident took place during the launch of Andhra Pradesh government’s new scheme that offers free bus travel for women, a poll promise implemented by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s administration.
As the MLA from Hindupur, Balakrishna participated in the event and drove the bus in Hindupur town, and the video of him driving a bus full of women passengers quickly went viral.
On the film front, Balakrishna will next be seen in Boyapati Srinu’s much-awaited Akhanda 2, slated for release later this year.
