The collaboration between music composer Thaman and Nandamuri Balakrishna has become a special one. Thaman has been scoring music for Balakrishna’s films for the past few years, and their bond continues to grow stronger. Speaking at the Mumbai media event held after the launch of the song “The Thaandavam” from Akhanda 2, Thaman said he channels his admiration for Balakrishna through his music.
“Apart from cinema, Balayya garu has been doing remarkable charity work through Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. He leads life in a royal way and remains loyal to the people who love him. I am fortunate to be working with him continuously,” he said.
Responding to questions about what new dimension Akhanda 2 could offer when Akhanda already showcased Balakrishna’s full range, Thaman added, “Balayya is ready to show variations for the next five parts as well. He will be ready to do Akhanda 5.”
Balakrishna, too, stated that God has been guiding him, while director Boyapati Sreenu said a divine force has been with the team throughout the making of the film.
