SS Thaman once again became a target for online trolls following a social media post related to his upcoming film “The Raja Saab.” Known for being highly active on X (formerly Twitter), the composer often promotes his projects himself, a habit that frequently draws reactions from rival fan groups.
Thaman recently shared an update about the film’s second single, “Sahana Sahana,” which is set for release soon. In his post, he mentioned that he had “just heard the second single” and that it would “stay for ages.” The remark quickly invited trolling, as fans questioned how the composer himself could say he “heard” the song he composed.
Soon after the backlash, Thaman deleted the post and reposted it with a clarification, stating that he had heard the “final master” of the track.
The episode once again sparked criticism that Thaman’s constant social media engagement often overshadows his work. With the first song from “The Raja Saab” receiving a lukewarm response and his recent projects facing mixed reactions, the composer is under increased scrutiny.
