“Thandel” starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi with direction by Chandoo Mondeti had its theatrical run last month. Bunny Vas produced the film, while Allu Aravind presented it.
Although the producers claimed it grossed more than Rs 100 Cr, the reality is different. The film’s collections declined after a strong run in the initial week. Overall, it was an average-grossing film in domestic regions and a flop in the USA. Nevertheless, it ended Nagaga Chaitanya’s flop streak and brought some cheers.
“Thandel” will now debut on OTT, precisely one month following its theatrical release. “Thandel” will be available on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam from March 7th.
“Thandel” is about fishermen from Srikakulam’s trials to be freed from a Pakistani jail when they were apprehended by Pakistani officials for crossing the maritime border.
Naga Chaitanya played “Thandel,” the leader of fishermen, and Sai Pallavi as his girlfriend.
