The much-anticipated film Toxic, starring Yash, has been postponed once again. After weeks of speculation about a delay, the makers have now officially confirmed that the film will no longer release on June 4. A new release date will be announced soon.
Originally slated to hit theatres on March 19, 2026, “Toxic” was earlier pushed to June 4. However, the team has now decided to revise the timeline further to align with a global release strategy.
In an official statement, Yash and the makers said, “Toxic is complete, and we are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to recalibrate our release timeline. While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date. Toxic will come to theatres across the world soon.”
Directed by Geethu Mohandas, “Toxic” is a gangster drama set in pre-independence Goa during Portuguese rule. The film features an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.
Mounted on a lavish budget, the film has been in production for over two years and marks Yash’s first release after the massive success of KGF: Chapter 2.
