New reports have been floating around that Trisha is set to replace Nayanthara in Chiranjeevi’s ‘Lucifer’ remake. But these reports turn out to be false. Nayanthara has not backed out of this project.

Nayanthara has signed this film long back and she is ready to allot her dates as well. Nayanthara will play Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film, which is based on the Malayalam super hit, ‘Lucifer’. Trisha has not been considered for this film at all, say the sources.
‘Lucifer’ remake will be directed by Mohan Raja. Megaa Super Good Films is bankrolling the film and its regular shoot will commence next month. Thaman is scoring the music.
