“Game Changer” opened to a modest opening in North America. The film collected just $1.3 million on Day 1, inclusive of the premiere show gross. This is quite low considering the performances of other big Telugu movies in recent times.
Bad weather in the USA, including snowstorms in many parts, has affected the film’s collection. Plus, in some areas, the prints arrived late. Additionally, director Shankar lost craze following the disastrous outcome of “Indian 2.” All these factors have contributed to the film underperforming.
“Game Changer” premiered on Thursday night. On day 1 (Thursday premiere + Friday), the collection stands at $1.391,721 ($1.39 million).
Prabhas’s “Kalki” grossed $5.5 million last year on day 1. Compared to such biggies, “Game Changer” has raked in so little.
