Ram Charan’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ received shockingly low amount from premiere shows. The film grossed mere $181k from the Thursday premieres despite Ram Charan’s previous movie ‘Rangasthalam’ setting record as all-time third highest grosser. This is because US audiences don’t show interest in director Boyapati’s movies. Excessive violence and crude masala moments put them off. Hence they didn’t show interest in this film for the premiere shows.
Meanwhile, both ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘Petta’ are looking at one million dollar mark. These films are likely to touch the mark by Sunday.
#VinayaVidheyaRama – Premiere Shows – $181k (Rs 1.23 Cr)
#Petta (Tamil+Telugu) – (Premiere+Day1) – $760k (Rs 5.20 Cr)
#NTRKathanayakudu – (Premiere+2days) – $624k (Rs 4.30 Cr)
#Viswasam (Tamil) – $84k (Rs 57 lakhs)
