Vakeel Saab’s release pushed to April?

It is now becoming certain that Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’ is not going to be released for Sankranthi 2021. Producer Dil Raju is not confident that people would flock to the movie theaters in January, even if the theaters get reopened shortly.

Big-budgeted movies like ‘Vakeel Saab’ need 100 % of occupancy to recover the cost. At present, theaters can only run to 50% of the total capacity.

This is the reason why the teaser of ‘Vakeel Saab’ could not come out on Deepavali.

The film’s entire shoot will be wrapped up by the first week of December. But the release date will be fixed only after assessing the situation. It will most likely move to April 2021.

Directed by Venu Sriram, ‘Vakeel Saab’ has Pawan Kalyan in the role of a lawyer and Shruti Haasan as his love interest. Ananya Nagalla, Anjali, and Nivetha Thomas play main roles as well. The music is by Thaman. Boney Kapoor presents the film.
